The sun created a lovely pattern of shadows on a leaf I noticed in the grass. Trying to catch the same effect through the lens turned out a boring image.
So it ended up on my window sill, where I noticed it today. The light on it was gorgeous as was the pattern. For the leaf had created its own elegant shape as it dried and became more brittle.
This is the result after working with a number of layers during my editing process and adding texture.
For me it has gained a bit of an Albrecht Durer effect. One of my favorite artists.
