Description
This male hooded merganser was sailing along with his crest fully extended, and I followed him with my lens until he hit this incredible pattern of his surroundings reflected in the water.
The expression on his face seems to emote his puzzlement on how to escape this maze of undulating squiggles of color.

Thank you, Elizabeth. He is one of my favorite subjects. Quite shy, and needs to be approached quietly.
