Description
Early morning, not long after sunrise, at the Nisqually National Wildlife Sanctuary.
One of those moments that makes one stop in one's tracks. Just stunning light and the quiet geese that migrate through twice a year enjoying this incredibly peaceful setting, and actually enhancing it.
One of my first pictures with my first digital camera, a small Canon Power shot. Taken quite a while back. Experimenting with reviving it after following a tutorial on using stamp tool in PSE11.

This is such a great capture I'ina, but it's your artistic processing that really makes this image stunning. I love the simplicity of it with the added texture and soft colours, really beautifully done. I/f
I'ina Van Lawick replied:
Thank you, Pennie. It was the tutorial Bob did when we belonged to the group, on stamp making that was used for this image.

I couldn't help myself, l'ina; I've revisited this poetic scene :)) {the Canada geese stop traffic here ... during rush hour, especially cute, when all stops as they waddle across the busy streets, oblivious to the pressures of escaping time} ... :))
I'ina Van Lawick replied:
Thank you for your comment, Connie. Yes, these birds hold my heart. I saw a duck family in Holland cross at a pedestrian crossing, and of course the traffic stopped. It was so cute.
