Keeping a watchful eye on me, the adult Canada Goose lowers her head, ready to stretch it out in a threatening, warning posture.
This family is lucky to have five young still remaining from their large brood with the many predators. Eagles, and other raptors. Mammals such as mink and other weasel types, as well coyotes, etc. are hunting for food for their own young.

In Art School Photography was an important elective for me besides my Major in Metalsmithing. Now that Carpal Tunnel to both wrists nixed my ability to work with metal I have taken up photography again after being introduced to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge near Olympia, WA; and consequently, digital photography.
