Artist's Description

My favorite rock, which I call Cormorant Rock, just off the sands of Copalis Beach, WA.

Eve a changing view with a variety of birds, and tidal movements, the powerful surge of the waves smashing againsts this solid, inert object standing in the sea, ..

The local Bald Eagle pair often perch here, and in summer the Brown Pelicans arrive and rule, leaving lower perches for the other seabirds.

Digitally enhanced.
