This view, looking into the pond through the reeds that framed the waterbird, stopped me in my tracks.
A magical view of natlure's pure beauty.
The stillness of the morning as a Hooded Merganser glides quietly on the marshpond, clearly visible for only a moment.
with the color palette accenting the serene mood of this experience.
Capturd with my first little digital camera in 2010 and now enhanced with Topaz AI.
Hoorah for the continuous improvements in camera technology to improve the low resolution of this and other 'firsts' in my old files.

Thank you, Angela. They are indeed lovely. We get quite a few here at the wildlife refuge. We have nestboxes for them in the trees, since they love to nest in hollows like that.
