Description
The Canada Geese are gathering again to forage, before continuing on their journey North.
The Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually NWR is a favorite stopping place for many migrating birds in this tremendous flyway.
When they fly up, the sounds of thousands of birds fill the air. An incredible experience.
This is the smaller version of the Canada Goose, the Cackling Goose.

These are just a few of the thousand or so who rest a while before continuing on their journey along The Pacific Flyway.
