Description
The Camas, a beautiful wildflower that grows here on our Wildlife Refuge. A lovely contrast with its environment.
Visited by a fly, a pretty little thing.
The Camas tubers are used as food by the Native peoples. One of the many provisions from nature's pantry.
It is one of the flowers that I look forward to seeing every spring.
Designed for throw pillow and mandala.
I like putting borders around my pillow designs as it promotes a better view of the whole flower. So often parts are cut off when trying to fit it into the proportions of a pillow.
