Description
This rock formation off the Washington Coast is a favorite resting and observation post for Brown Pelicans in the summer. They love to ride the wind and are seen gliding elegantly above the waves on the way to their roosts in the evening. This flock has a number of immature birds.
The local Bald Eagles also use it when the pelicans are not present.
