Description
While waiting for our Environmental Education students to come by my informational station on the estuary I heard the Marsh Wren and finally spotted him in the willow tree in front of me. He was lunching on the nutritious willow buds between songs. His nest is among the reeds/cattails in the salt water marsh.
I tell the students that the birds like their salad and vitamins too.

It may be Wren's lunchtime, yet the gentle composition reveals a tender moment, l'ina, captured in a lovely light :))

Thank you very much, Connies. Yes, I love these tender moments in wildlife.
