Description
It was misty at the refuge, and I decided to see what there was worth photographing. I found many treasures, including this little caterpillar caught by the morning mist, too cold to move yet and covered with dew. I love the way nature is embracing it with water drops and spiderwebs.

Great shot, iina. I love the colors and the dew drop detail on both the caterpillar and web.
I'ina Van Lawick replied:
Thanks very much, Penny. One of those small worlds that are easy to miss when ambling along. I am learning to also look down when out there 'hunting'.

What a marvelous opportunity---marvelous take!!!!! You have a great eye that would catch something like this. That worm must have been very cold that the dew would gather so on it's backside Even the web shows the dew as tiny droplets--almost like jewels spun on a string. Your image is so crisp and detailed. Very nice job. I like and thank you for sharing.

Thank you very much for your enthusiastic response, Mary. Grabbing the opportunity with iffy weather keeps showing me the unexpected gems we find.
