Description
Surely one of the most elegant 'trees' designed by Nature. Thouglh there seem to be a lot of these canes of bamboo, just a few will make it look like a forest.
One of my favorite 'trees' for its elegance, gracefulness, and simple design.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Wonderful depiction ...letting the thin rectangle give that feeling of the tight formations, the thick growth. I'm always drawn in by this fortress of tree....lovely lovely photograph, I'ina. F/L++

Thank you so very much for your enthusiastic resplnse, Nancy. I love bamboo. This afternoon has been a very enlightening experience with my BW processing, after 1 good hour walking the neighborhood and enjoying the environment during this sunny episode.
