I don't know if this is the only gosling for this Canada Goose pair, but she is newborn, and both parents are on the water with her. So I presume that there are no more eggs to hatch.
We did have a tremendous windstorm last week that did quite a bit of damage to the area, almost like a low-grade tornado, if such a thing exists.
So here are the very protective parents of one.

Thank you very much, William. It was later in the morning and yet the light was not too harsh because of the deep shadows from the trees. My favorite pond for the way the light creates such great reflections from the surrounding trees.
